San Francisco

San Francisco was certainly my favorite city that we visited.  Right in the heart of Silicon Valley, not only did we meet some amazing companies and speakers in the city, but also got to experience the city itself.  While we had some free time, a group of us visited a restaurant ranked in the top 5 restaurants in the city, and my meal of salmon, swordfish, and grilled shrimp, all locally caught in the Bay Area, could not have been better.  Seeing the Golden Gate bridge and eating a signature bread bowl of clam chowder really made me feel like I was getting the complete tourist experience.

We also got to see the residential streets of San Francisco which I thought was very interesting.  While NYC is so modern with uniform, boring apartments lining the city, the beautiful colors and designs of the ultra expensive homes in the hills of San Francisco really stuck out to me.  The people of the city seemed very genuinely nice, and of course getting to finally try In-N-Out Burger was a very memorable experience.
