The Chihuly Glasshouse was a place that embraces the vibrancy of Seattle with the Space Needle and the glass art by Washington native Dale Chihuly.  The museum had very vibrant, unique colors and shapes that embody the unique characteristics of the city. The space needle is the perfect centerpiece for the glass museum because while the glass museum is representative of the entire city, the Space Needle let’s you actually view the entire city in a physical sense.

A large expenditure such as the Space Needle can pay for itself time and time again because of its draw to tourists.  It may be a difficult decision to spend so much money on a project, but in this case, it definitely paid off.  It also helps when pop culture integrates the attraction into its content, like Men in Black using the Space Needle as an alien UFO in one movie.
