The "Keep Portland Weird" saying could not be more true.  The city was not normal in any sense of the world, but I do not think it is possible to be a "normal" city when you have a professional cuddler in it.  The city that is the sneaker capital of the world provided us with interesting insight on what a "West Coast Lifestyle" truly looks like.  The people that we met greatly differed from the people that I am accustomed to, living right outside of New York City, but the city proved to be very unique and exciting.
