Urban Putt
Summary

Urban Putt is an indoor mini-golf course in San Francisco, which also serves as a restaurant and bar. What makes Urban Putt so special is the fact that it was built in a Victorian Mansion that had been previously vacant since 1999 when it last served as a funeral home, but that is not all. "UP" was designed by Yale graduate Steve Fox along with designers, robotics engineers, welders, and artists. Together the group created a modern, uniquely San Francisco experience. The course features digital holes, holes that involve the ball running through a variety of robotic mazes, and much more.

Key Takeaways

-
Consumers appreciate unique spins on products that they think they are familiar with. Everyone has gone mini-golfing before, and everyone has gone to a bar, and everyone has played some sort of video game. Never before have these things that people love been so uniquely combined to create a unique product that people of all ages can enjoy, and this degree of creativity is what gets people excited and generates revenue.
-
Technology can, and will, be integrated into almost anything. As people get more and more creative and technology becomes more and more mainstream, we are going to begin seeing technology in places that we have never seen it before, such as in a mini-golf course.
